Filmclub runs every lunchtime in the library and every Friday after school. Our aim is to make a wide range of films available to young people and engage them in exploring issues and themes. We enable students to watch and discuss films in a safe and structured way with their peers so that they are challenged and inspired in their thinking. The films chosen are linked to world events and issues.

Anyone can attend the showings, however students are encouraged to become members of the club as regular attendees so that they benefit from all that we have to offer. Students are supervised in searching out films that they would like to watch, within the appropriate age limit, and write reviews which improves their literacy skills. Students can also enter competitions and be part of trips and in-house events that promote the club.

FILMCLUB letter into film
