How much funding did we receive this year for 2019-20?

We have received £18620 for the Catch Up Premium, as additional funding to support the year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in English and Mathematics at the end of Key Stage 2.

How do we intend to spend this year’s allocation?

We have allocated the funding to support our pupils in the following ways:

How last year’s allocation made a difference to the outcomes of the pupils?

At the start of the academic year, the students were screened data to enable their progress to be measured and analysed using national standardised scores. Data received from their primary schools was also used to help support a more targeted intervention approach.    Social interventions were also part of the support the learning package in order to meet the social and emotional needs of specific pupils to encourage engagement. The  following results  list the amount of progress that  had been made by the end of the academic year.

In September 2018, 56 joined not at age related expectation in English

At the end of the year the figure was 19.

Maths
